These Terms govern your use of For the Trip. By using the site you agree to use it for lawful trip planning and travel research.

What For the Trip does

For the Trip is a free trip planner. It shows tours, tickets and audio guides from partner sites, such as WeGoTrip, and eSIM plans compared by our sister site eSIM Spotter, and lets you put them, along with your own bookings, on the days of your trip. We do not sell tours, tickets or eSIMs and do not take payments.

Bookings are with the seller

When you follow a link to a seller and book, the purchase, payment, changes, refunds and support are between you and the seller, under the seller’s terms. Check the seller’s price, conditions and cancellation rules before you pay.

Prices and availability

Prices, ratings and availability come from the sellers and are updated every day, but they can change at any time. A price “from” on our pages is the lowest price the seller lists for one adult; the price on the seller’s site is the one that counts. Information on For the Trip is for planning and is not personal advice.

How we earn

We earn a commission when you book through our links; your price stays the same. Lists are ordered by what the sellers report as popular and by the filters you choose. More on our How we earn page.

Your account and your trips

• You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, or with Google or Apple. Keep access to that email safe.
• What you add to your trips stays yours. You let us store it and show it to you so that the planner works.
• Times, addresses and confirmation numbers in your trips are what you entered: check them against your bookings.
• You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to hello@forthetrip.com.

Acceptable use

• Use the site only for lawful trip planning and travel research.
• Do not misuse, scrape, overload or interfere with the site, or try to get around its security or limits.
• Do not use another person’s email to sign in or put other people’s personal data in your trips without reason.
• Do not copy substantial parts of our content without permission.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Intellectual property

Texts, layouts, logos and our own photos on For the Trip belong to us or our licensors. Photos credited on our Photo credits page are used under their licences. Seller names, tour descriptions and trademarks belong to their owners and are shown to identify the offers.

Liability and your mandatory rights

For the Trip is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for sellers’ services, cancellations, price changes, mistakes in what you entered, or lost travel time. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including consumer rights.

Applicable law and disputes

These Terms and any dispute about the site are subject to the law and jurisdiction set by applicable conflict-of-laws and procedural rules. Before starting formal proceedings, please write to hello@forthetrip.com so that we can try to resolve the issue.
